Before I take you on a journey of intensive detoxes, I wanted to give you a little taste first. The easiest way to cleanse your body is using water. It’s simple, drink more water! But there’s a better (and tastier way to do this) and that’s flavored water.
The best ingredients to use are lemon (because it’s alkaline and cleanses the body naturally) and cucumber (again, alkaline and natural cleansing agent). Just chuck some of this in a glass and let it infuse for half an hour, and you have some healthy flavor infused water. As a bonus to it tasting great and refreshing, you also get the benefit of the extra vitamins and minerals.

Such slimming detox water recipes help you cleanse the body, and when combined with some exercise and healthy eating, will help you lose weight a lot faster. For now, it’s a great and easy intro to detox!

Detox has been the diet word for the last few years. But what does it really mean? Well, the technical definition for detoxification is the removal of toxic substances from the body. There’s plenty of ways to this, including drinks, foods, pills and exercise.
In this guide (or blog) I’ll review some of the best ways to detox and cleanse your body of all the toxins you’ve accumulated over the years.
There’s been a lot of debate on whether cleansing is actually healthy or not. I agree this discussion needs to be had. Starving yourself for days and calling it a detox is clearly not healthy. You need to continually feed your body to remain healthy. A balanced diet is also required. So don’t chase the latest fad and put your body in jeopardy for a so called miracle weight loss program. These programs frequently claim its a detox, but these are far removed from what a healthy detox is all about.
So in the next few articles I’ll be guiding you through some of the best ways to cleanse your system. Some will be using natural ingredients (my favorites) and some will be using tablets (many of these natural in nature as well).
So in the next post I will discuss the health benefits of a real detox program, also known as a full body cleanse. Then I will post my favorite natural ingredients, such as natural laxatives and detox programs. I’ll share my favorite tea detox with you as well, which helps boost energy levels, helps with weight loss and makes you feel better overall.
